Performing arts DANCE course

Dance of Life Studio offers an exhilarating and fast paced training taking Dance to another level.

Students perform annually in a professional setting showcasing their particular dances, previous shows  included: Moulin Rouge, A night through the Decades, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Animalistic etc.

The school was founded by Angelo Ruggieri who believes in excellence in dance and developing the ability and skills to deliver a range of dances in a professional manner.  Students learn through all dance classes about their own bodies, movements, performing individually as well as connecting with partners. 

Angelo had trained professionally in Ballet , Contemporary and Jazz.  As well as performing for many years and teaching numerous dance classes, Angelo has lead the choreography for many prestigious theaters including Diana Theatre ( Italy ), Delle Palme Theatre ( Italy ), Bellini Theatre, Tate Modern London.

Apart from choreography theatre and television credits include: BBC London, SKY TV Show, RAI ( Radio Television Italiana ).

The Full Time Programme 1 Year Course gives Students the opportunity to showcase their performances to West End and Broadway producers and agents, as we believe it is essential students are given the opportunity to develop their professions further and receive constructive feedback and opportunities from such professionals.

The principles and philosophy DANCE OF LIFE brings forth, is sharing the professional experience and skills that our team brings and mastering different concepts in any dance classes, theories as well as styles of dance.

The Full Time Programme 1 Year Course prepares students for the industry; it will be a challenging programme as we bring out the best in our students, a disciplined approach and results orientated in all dance classes.

Fees

Our fees taken in to account how difficult self-funding can be, hence we have kept out fees realistic, giving students the opportunity to pursue their dreams and have the professional training and input that is necessary.

The total fee for The Full Time Programme 1 Year Course is £ 7.500 for the year.

This includes the full time fee as well as attending dance shows, showcases, one to one coaching, as well as West End Trips.

Taught by industry professional and having the opportunity to be signed up by leading agents. 

Fees can be paid flexibly as arrangements can be made; the aim is to give students the opportunity to receive the professional training.

TRAINING

The Full Time Programme 1 Year Course is an intense dance programme that develops and refines student dance practice.  Focusing on performance and bridging the gap, between being a “student” and a “professional”.

Learning the secret of the successful transition. 

The Full Time Programme 1 Year Course training will introduce and polish your existing dancing skills, in areas as Ballet Dance, Contemporary Dance, Lyrical Jazz, Modern Dance, Composition, Body Contact, Street Dance, Hip Hop and any other dance classes.

Students will choreograph and perform several times a year to an audience as well as to professionals in the industry.  We believe in helping talent being spotted.  In addition to the dance classes you will have one to one coaching on impact, confidence and styling to increase your opportunities in the industry and build on any gaps that may exist.

Agents & Producers

Throughout the year we will hold workshops and dance classes with Agents and Producers so that students receive the critical feedback that is necessary as well as the opportunity to stay on top of the competition.

Agent and Producer notes will be offered, also, this gives not only the students but also, the professional to see the growth in the students.  On the final showcase, Agents and Producers will have the opportunity to take up students for representation as well as casting.

QUALIFICATIONS AND FUNDING

The Full Time Programme 1 Year Course

Student will receive a certificate on full completion of the academic programme.  This will be offered by DANCE OF LIFE.  As the course is lead by industry professionals it is a training programme to prepare students for the professional world and unaccredited programme.  The programme incorporates the latest trends and styles in the world of dance, therefore, it is necessary that our tutors are industry professionals.

It would be the responsibility of the students to raise the appropriate course fees for the programme. However, we can support students with a payment plan.
